NIH Common Forms for Biographical Sketch and Current/Pending (Other) Support

NIH requires the use of Common Forms for Biosketch and Other Support documents for applications due on or after January 25, 2026. The Common Forms will also be required for RPPRs, JITs, and prior approval requests submitted on or after January 25, 2026.

Senior/Key Personnel will be required to do the following:

• Obtain an ORCID ID and link it to their eRA Commons account
• Draft and sign Biosketch and Other Support documents in ScienCV

Proposals that do not include the applicable Common Form generated in ScienCV will error out of the sponsor portal and will not be accepted for review.
